We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of ensemble singing. We embrace people of all abilities and help you to grow your confidence.

A choir is a fantastic way to make life-long friends. Choir&Ko is an independent, non-audition, friendly choir with 5 live sessions a week around the Surrey and Sussex areas.

Singing as part of a choir has been proven to have many benefits including improved mental health and reduced stress levels, so why not give it a go?

As a choir we perform throughout the year hosting concerts, raising money for local charities and for 2 years running we appeared alongside Gareth Malone on his Sing-Along tour.

There is no obligation to perform, you can do as much or as little as you wish and the beauty of a choir is you can be as visible or invisible as you want.

I trained as a vocal coach too many years ago to mention. Along with offering private singing tuition, I earned a living as a studio session singer where my love of vocal arranging began. My first introduction to music was, in fact, through my school choir. A ‘less than posh’ group of kids, mentored by their fantastic music teacher Patrick Allen, went on to win a national choral competition. This taught me that, no matter what experience you have or what your background is, everyone deserves the opportunity to benefit from the pure pleasure of singing together with others. Fast forward seventeen years and I love my role as choir leader of five active weekly choirs with a membership exceeding 300, and regular concerts and public performances.
